Youon administrative council member Jorge Fernandes reveals what products and technologies Youon will be showing in its pod at the 2023 NAB Show, which takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 15–19. Youon Systems will be showcasing WhatsTV in Pod C8035L in the Central Hall’s Create Experiential Zone during NAB Show.

What has your company been working on since the last NAB Show?

Our company is working with television interaction using social media. Specially, we are focused on bringing a new level of interaction using WhatsApp. Also, we have improved the solutions for playout for radio and television. We provide consolidated software solutions for media compiles.

What products or product categories are you highlighting at the 2023 NAB Show?

We are highlighting WhatsTV, the first playout and moderation solution for WhatsApp. Using Youon WhatsTV media companies will be able to publish messages, images and videos received from social media quickly and directly to your TV studio. Everything in an easy, fast, and safe way.

Also, we are bringing the consolidated playout solutions for radio and television VideoWorks and YoungNews. These solutions bring a new concept of agile playout for the media companies.

What recent technology developments do you think are the most exciting for the media and entertainment industry?

We think that the interaction is the key for the success of media and entertainment industry. We believe the best way to succeed is to help our clients succeed through their proximity to their audience. Thus, the messaging apps, especially WhatsApp, are perfect tools for bringing content from the audience to the programming.
