Christopher Dean
Christopher S. Dean (“CD”) is VP & GM, Communications & Media for Salesforce, setting strategy and managing operations for solutions that help media companies accelerate growth, agility and differentiation through industry-specific cloud and mobile software.
CD has spent decades developing and launching products that help customers create new distribution channels and grow revenue. As CEO of Swrve, CD transformed a mobile gaming business into a world leader in enterprise mobile marketing automation for finance, entertainment, travel, telecommunications, and ecommerce verticals.
CD holds a MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Vassar College. His overarching business and management philosophy: Look after the customer and everything else falls into place.
Christopher Kuthan
Christopher Kuthan is the Head of Worldwide Media & Entertainment and Sports Solutions at Amazon Web Services. In his role, Chris is responsible for working with leading media & entertainment and advertising companies as well as sports organizations to define and build innovative solutions and services across their content production, media supply chain, direct-to-consumer and streaming, broadcast, monetization and ad tech and data science, and artificial intelligence workflows.
Previously, Kuthan held various positions across media, video and data science and machine learning at AWS. Prior to AWS, Chris spent over 15 years in senior engineering, product, marketing and general management positions across start-up and enterprise environments in the media and telecom industries, across Europe, Asia and the United States. Chris has an MBA from the Helsinki University of Economics, Finland, and a MSEE from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria.
Ken Kanagaraj
Ken Kanagaraj is the Direct-to-Consumer Innovation Lead and a Principal Architect at Amazon Web Services, Proserv. In his role, Kanagaraj is responsible for D2C technical strategy and working with media & entertainment customers and partners on delivery and integration of their solutions on AWS.
Kanagaraj has about 15 years of experience in over-the-top video streaming, content management, monetization and consumer experience workloads with emphasis on solution architecture and systems integration. Prior to AWS, Ken spent time at Cisco and Ernst & Young in technical management, application development and architecture positions in telecom, IPTV and service provider business.
