Matrox ST 2110 network adapters offer a comprehensive ST 2110 solution to build reliable and scalable COTS based 10GE and 25Ge IP solutions. Matrox ST 2110 NICs offload all packet processing required for ST 2110-20, ST 2110-30, ST 2110-31 and ST 2110-40, as well as ST 2022-7 redundancy, to free up system resources. Matrox ST 2110 NICs are architected for universal compatibility by providing narrow senders (Type N)—paced in hardware according to ST 2110-21– as well as providing line-rate capture for wide asynchronous receivers. The ST 2110 IO cards also integrate hardware-based PTP allowing for ST 2059-2 accuracy in the nanosecond range—eliminating network jitter associated with software-based IP solutions. The ST 2110 IO cards also provide built-in support for NMOS Device Registration and Discovery (IS-04) and for NMOS Device Connection Management (IS-05) allowing for seamless deployment in ST 2110 environments.
