Overview

• Channels- In-A-Box provides the repository of the content and serves the content with great accuracy on a prescribed schedule including commercials, public announcements, and other clips. Video Playout, Ad insertion, EAS, Splicing, Muxing, and Graphics Creation are highly integrated in the GUI.

• Advertising is an important revenue generator for any TV station.

• Emergency Alert and Channel ID is an important task for any broadcast facility or cable head end in Americas.

• Overlays of graphics on incoming HD-SDI or IP video streams is crucial. Splicing ads via triggering or time is a first order requirement. Triggering can be initiated by GPIO, DTMF or SCTE 104, SCTE 35 markers.

• Graphical elements can be inventoried “on the on board” hard drives. Ads or public announcement libraries can be created for quick use under dynamic real world events. Graphical elements such as fancy fonts, boxes, borders, background colors, and identifiers can also be used to enhance the video content. Inside these distinct areas you can insert scrolling or horizontally crawling text.

• Channels-In-A-Box incorporates a labor saving scheduling system that works well with all traffic systems.

• A key feature for Broadcasting and Cable is multiplexing of multiple services. We output a Multiprogram MPEG-2 Transport Stream at 19.3 or 38 Mbps via the ASI ouput port. • Supports full PSIP table Manipulation via built in PSIP Multiplexer
