Amplify editor Emily M. Reigart interviews Oliver Botti about Fincons Group’s plans for the 2022 NAB Show. Botti is joined by special guest Mike Kralec, senior vice president – chief technology officer at Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Botti, who serves as senior vice president – executive sales director global media, Fincons Group, and Kralec will discuss how ATSC3 is proving to be a game changer for broadcasters in today’s continuously evolving video market, helping transform audience engagement thanks to data distribution “as a service.” Additionally, they’ll propose that the media and entertainment industry is experiencing a transformation in the media supply chain as a result of cloud infrastructure. This global, cloud-centered, multichannel supply chain enables hyperpersonalization and intelligent content.
The 2022 NAB Show will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 23–27.

Prior to this, his role as vice president/technical operations and deputy CTO was central to launching public-cloud-based media operations and ATSC 3.0 commercialization. From 2014 to 2018 he served as vice president/data systems and information technology services, concentrating on advances in enterprise mobility, program/service delivery, data management and security. From 2010, he was director, data systems development; from 2005, he served as systems development manager; and from 2000 to 2005, he was a software developer. Kralec received a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Towson University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland. He is a veteran of the United States Navy.
