Magewell Ultra Stream encoders for live streaming and recording
Making live streaming production remarkably simple even for non-professional users, Magewell’s Ultra Stream standalone streaming encoders enable them to record or stream high-quality video with one click using on-device buttons or an intuitive smartphone app.
Users can stream to popular services including YouTube Live, Facebook Live or Twitch or to a custom-specified RTMP server with a single tap. In addition to outputting live streams, the Ultra Stream can record video as MP4 files to a directly-connected USB drive, internal storage or the associated smartphone. Recording and streaming can be performed with different encoding parameters simultaneously.
The Ultra Stream HDMI captures, encodes and streams video up to 1080p60 via an HDMI input interface from sources such as video cameras, Blu-ray players and game consoles. The encoder also supports 4K HDMI inputs at 60fps, down-converting them automatically to HD for recording and streaming. The Ultra Stream SDI model supports HD or 2K video at resolutions up to 2048×1080 over 3G-SDI connectivity. In addition to video input and loop-through connections with embedded audio support, the units offer analog audio input and output, with built-in Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet connectivity and support for optional USB mobile broadband modems.
