Amplify editor Emily M. Reigart interviews Oliver Botti about Fincons Group’s plans for the 2022 NAB Show. Botti is joined by special guest Mike Kralec, senior vice president – chief technology officer at Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Botti, who serves as senior vice president – executive sales director global media, Fincons Group, and Kralec will discuss how ATSC3 is proving to be a game changer for broadcasters in today’s continuously evolving video market, helping transform audience engagement thanks to data distribution “as a service.” Additionally, they’ll propose that the media and entertainment industry is experiencing a transformation in the media supply chain as a result of cloud infrastructure. This global, cloud-centered, multichannel supply chain enables hyperpersonalization and intelligent content.

The 2022 NAB Show will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 23–27.

Fincons Group AG will be in Booth W10105 (West Hall) during NAB Show, as well as in the ATSC booth (W9022, also in the West Hall).

Sinclair will be demonstrating their broadcast application, designed by Fincons, in the ATSC booth in the West Hall, booth W9022, at NAB Show.

After 25+ years divided among research and innovation, operations, and sales and business development, Oliver is today senior vice president – executive sales director – global media, in charge at group level of scouting new market opportunities, creating brand awareness, leading sales and business development as well as innovating the company’s offering through new technologies and their disruptive application. About Mike Kralec
Mike Kralec currently and since 2022 has served as senior vice president/chief technology officer focused on technology-enabled transformation across Sinclair’s diversified media and operations landscape. Prior to this, his role as vice president/technical operations and deputy CTO was central to launching public-cloud-based media operations and ATSC 3.0 commercialization. From 2014 to 2018 he served as vice president/data systems and information technology services, concentrating on advances in enterprise mobility, program/service delivery, data management and security. From 2010, he was director, data systems development; from 2005, he served as systems development manager; and from 2000 to 2005, he was a software developer. Kralec received a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Towson University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland. He is a veteran of the United States Navy.
